General/Family Practice provides health care to the population over 14 years of age. It combines activities of preservation and promotion of health through direct and continuous care of individuals and families. These activities are performed in clinics and in patients' homes and they include: health education, ambulatory diagnostics and treatment, complete and screening physical examinations, specific physicals, treatment of chronically ill patients, emergency medical services, issuance of physicians' certificates of health and assessment of work ability.
General/Family
Practice cooperates with other departments within the Health Centre,
as well as with other medical institutions in Sarajevo Canton, with the
aim of providing improved and more comprehensive health care to the
population, and facilitating the issuance of medical documentation and
statistical data.
